SDL Atlas M003B Fabric Stiffness Tester

Determines fabric stiffness by evaluating resistance to bending for the sample. Fabric stiffness depends on mass, fiber properties, fabric construction, and fabric treatments. Sample testing involves cutting rectangular strip and situating on horizontal platform with 41.5° inclined section for fabric bending by its own mass. Bending length correlated to scale on instrument.
