Leica LMD7000 Laser Microdissection System

First upright laser dissection system using gravity for capturing dissected materials. Sample (nucleus, single cell, or area) is cut and dropped into capture cap with 4, 8, 16, or 48 array settings. Uses 349 nm laser with control over frequency and pulse duration (120 J at up to 5000 Hz) for power, specificity on difficult samples like bone without heating. Four fluorescent colors available.
