Nano-tensile tester for single fiber measurement with a maximum load of 500mN. Offers researchers the ability to understand dynamic properties of compliant fibers and strain rate sensitive materials. Produces tensile force using electromagnetic actuation combined with a precise capacitive gauge to deliver high sensitivity over a large range of strain. Includes Continuous Dynamic Analysis (CDA) option which offers direct, accurate measurement of the specimen's stiffness at each point in the experiment. Applications include electrospun polymer nanofibers, thin individual polymer/metal/ceramic fibers, polymer films, spider silk, biomaterials, textiles, and MEMS. ASTM compliant.
