Older unit than Micro-Compounder 1 but offers same processing capabilities. Vertically-oriented twin screw extruder with 15 mL volume capacity. Enables higher shear rates, process higher viscosity materials, better dispersion and mixing, improved stability. Screw speed 1-250 rpm, force limit 9000 N, max temperature 400°C. Funnel feeder and plunger feeder. Batch processing with manual continuous feed option. Co-rotating or counter rotating screws. 4 hours training required. 2 business days cancellation notice.
